Morgan and Thomas chose to marry at the beautiful Sowell Farms in Milton, Florida. The expansive property is full of delightful treasures, from livestock (not only cows, but zebras too!), to fountains, to gorgeous open fields. They leaned into the setting and designed an event that was a perfect country barn wedding!
Morgan and Thomas did not see each other prior to the ceremony, but they did choose to share a first touch and private vow reading. Separated by the barn door in front of which they were married a few minutes later, the bride and groom held hands and took a few moments of quiet to read their private vows to one another. It was beautiful to hear how they both emphasized building a family together, and having found the person they dreamed of forever.
Morgan and Thomas did a sparkler exit, and it was so fun – the big reception doors were behind them and it was the perfect end to their country barn wedding! Afterwards, we hopped in the golf cart and zipped up to the very front of the property, where there were thousands of twinkle lights dripping from the trees. I absolutely love taking night portraits, and I love when clients want them! Thank you so much to this awesome bride and groom for giving me 15 more minutes at the end of their night!
The bride loves Disney, and her sweet mother brought Disney to her in the form of a horse-drawn Cinderella carriage! When it was time for the bride to walk down the aisle, the groom and all of their guests turned to watch as a carriage arrived on to the property, and the bride exited right at the top of the aisle. It was such a romantic moment!
