What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
There were a lot of stunning choices when it came to the details of Niki and Jase’s wedding, but the florals were honestly breathtaking. The bridal bouquet was full of lush, colorful spring blooms perfect for an April wedding. But the bouquets weren’t the only florals for the day. There were flowers hanging over the ceremony, adorning the arbor built by the bride’s father, in the centerpieces on the tables in the reception, and even on the couple’s wedding cake!!
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
The first look is one of my favorite parts of a wedding day, as it always allows the couple to just have a private moment and enjoy each other’s company before the festivities get underway. Niki and Jase’s first look was made even more special when Jase gifted Niki a beautiful necklace to wear during their wedding. The couple shared in this beautiful moment, and you could see all the nerves they felt that day just melting away.
Were there any children involved in the ceremony or reception that were memorable?
Family is such an important part of any wedding day, and before their wedding, Niki made sure to inform us that she wanted the flower-girls and ring-bearers (who happened to be the couple’s nieces and nephews) to feel just as important as the couple on this day. These kids made that the easiest job. They were so full of life and energy, bringing smiles during the ceremony and playing throughout the reception. They even took the polaroid camera for the guest book and gave me some stiff competition with their photography skills!
