Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
Elizabeth and Noah planned a winter wedding, taking place in downtown Pensacola in early January. Even here on the Emerald Coast, January is a toss-up; it could be sunny and warm, or it could be wet and cold. This lucky bride and groom had the perfect day. It was sunny, the temperature was in the 60s, and there was no rain. Their guests danced the night away outdoors, under a beautiful clear-topped tent behind 5eleven, and it didn’t get chilly until the last hour when no one cared!
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
The bride and groom chose not to see one another prior to the wedding, the perfect bit of tradition for their classic downtown Pensacola wedding. Old Christ Church is a historic landmark, and it was a beautiful moment when the doors opened and Elizabeth and her father walked down the aisle. Elizabeth and Noah’s eyes were locked on each other, and it was a lovely start to their meaningful ceremony.
What made the reception enjoyable?
Elizabeth and Noah’s classic downtown Pensacola wedding was topped off with the most fun reception, largely because of the amazing band, The Six Piece Suits. The band brought incredible energy to the stage, all night long. They kep the dance floor full with people of all ages, and it often felt like a concert taking place in the back courtyard of 5eleven Palafox. It was wonderful.
