What made the wedding venue special?
Jennifer and Clay chose to have their Gulf Breeze wedding at Clay’s grandfather’s home overlooking Pensacola Bay. It was a gorgeous location in its own right, but made more special by how special it was to Clay to marry Jennifer on the property. It was clear just how much he respects and admires his grandfather, and hosting their wedding at his home was such a beautiful way to honor that relationship!
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
Jennifer and Clay initially chose to do a first look prior to their ceremony, but changed their minds just a few days prior to their wedding date. They instead chose to read their vows to each other privately, just the two of them, without actually seeing each other. I loved that they still wanted to carve out a few moments of time just for each other on their wedding day while still having that grand ceremony reveal moment. It was so sweet and intentional, and I so appreciated being able to witness and document that moment for them.
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Classic City Catering created a unique bar experience reminiscent of a speakeasy for Jennifer and Clay’s reception! It featured an art deco inspired aesthetic and bartenders mixing up delicious craft cocktails for their guests to enjoy! It was one of the most fun bar setups I have seen at a wedding and I absolutely loved how different it was!
