Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
Nichole and Ashton chose an elegant palette of black, and white with silver, soft sage, and stunning emerald green accents for their elegant wedding at 5eleven Palafox in downtown Pensacola, Florida. A classic palette offers such versatility in design and aesthetic, and remains timeless!!
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
I adored their reception design centered around long farmhouse tables covered in glowing candles that created a warm, family style atmosphere for their guests. Chrissy Floral Design brought the outside indoors with an absolutely incredible statement centerpiece of manzanita boughs in tall glass vases and greenery dripping from cafe lights strung the length of the space and I especially loved the lounge area set up in the courtyard featuring gorgeous soft seating in champagne, and emerald velvet where their caricature artist was set up drawing portraits throughout the evening!
What made the reception enjoyable?
I am a big fan of couples incorporating unexpected elements into their wedding days. Whether representing something special to them or simply for the sake of keeping things fun, and different! I LOVED that they hired a caricature artist to set up at the reception! It was such a fun and unique way to bring in something they enjoy while giving their guests an activity to participate in, AND taking home a pretty awesome favor!
