What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
Cindy and Ron have been a couple for eight years, and they decided to marry in a private Pensacola Beach elopement, with only the two of them. When I arrived at the Opal Beach area (so pretty and romantically secluded!), I found Ron and after a quick greeting, he walked several hundred yards down the beach to a spot where he had arranged six simple lanterns it the sand. For about ten minutes, I watched from a distance as he stood and looked out at the Gulf of Mexico, waiting for Cindy to arrive. When she did, it was magical – she emerged from her limo and walked down the “aisle,” which was really a long a gorgeous stretch of sugar white sand, until she reached her groom.
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
I loved that there were not really any details! Other than the pretty lanterns, Cindy and Ron let the beauty of the beach serve as their backdrop.
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
So much laughter! Cindy and Ron were in the best spirits, and I loved laughing with them, and watching them laugh with each other, during the sunset beach portrait session.
