What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?

It was apparent that Anna Katherine and Neil were absolutely smitten and in love. Throughout their whole couple’s session, they cuddled and giggled and were just enraptured with one another! It was also obvious that everyone who was there loved the couple. As we took portraits throughout the day, Anna Katherine made a point to have a special moment with everyone who stood by her side. I loved how beautiful she made every simple moment!!

Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?

As cocktail hour turned into the reception, Anna Katherine and Neil led their party by second line, a famous New Orleans tradition! They marched and partied their way all throughout The Henderson, and they waved napkins and umbrellas along the way. It was a beautiful way to honor the south and add a little extra fun to their wedding day!

Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?

Absolutely! The weather was not too hot and not too cold, and the sun was shining beautifully. The couple was even gifted with the most beautiful sunset, which gave them the sweetest opportunity to just be a newly married couple while we snapped some sweet photos of them!!
