What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Kendall transformed the reception ballroom by draping market lines and vines all the way across the ceiling. It made an indoor ballroom feel like a garden, and was the perfect backdrop for her thoughtfully planned and arranged blue and white brunch wedding. She and Grant also had a large crossword puzzle for guests to “sip and solve” throughout the party. The questions were all about their relationship! It was adorable.
What made the reception enjoyable?
As usual, the Bay Kings Band was amazing. They kept the dance floor packed for the entire party, and gave such a positive energy to the event. They brought down the house with “Sweet Caroline” after the entire dance floor chanted, “one more song!” I always think that military weddings end up being the most fun; in this case, BOTH the bride and groom are military pilots so it was double the party!
What was unique about the bridal party’s attire?
The bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses, and I loved it! Kendall’s favorite color is blue, and she asked her bridesmaids to wear dress in shades of light blue. Some wore solids, other wore florals – it was lovely.
