What made the wedding venue special?
Makenzie and Yancey chose to have their wedding take place at Yancey’s grandmother’s home in Orange Beach. That special touch made the day all the more meaningful, and it was also nice to be able to secure such a private part of the beach! I love that they will always be able to have such special memories attached to their wedding venue!
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
It was pretty rainy all day, but the couple had such great attitudes about everything! They decided to move forward with their plan of having the ceremony on the beach, and I am so glad we did because the lighting was just absolutely perfect! It was totally worth having everyone under umbrellas in order to keep the couple’s dreams a reality!
Did the couple incorporate any pets in the wedding?
While the couple’s pup, Finley, made an appearance for their engagement session, she was unable to make it to the wedding day itself. Makenzie and Yancey decided to place a figurine of her on their wedding cake to make sure that Finley was still there in spirit. It was such a sweet touch!
