What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Marissa and Matt are vibrant and active and fun, and you could feel their energy in every choice they made! My very favorite detail is one that I have NEVER seen before, and it’s my new favorite – coconuts! As the guests walked into the beach reception, they passed a coconut stand serving cracking open chilled, fresh coconuts (branded with Matt and Marissa’s names!). All night long ,guests walked around carrying giant coconuts (and I witnessed more than one trip to the bar to add a little adult sparkle to the natural coconut water!). This was such a fun way to add a tropical element to this tropical wedding on the sand, and I hope it starts a trend!
What made the wedding venue special?
Matt and Marissa went all in their destination beach wedding – they threw their entire reception on the sand, with the Gulf of Mexico as the backdrop! It was fantastic. Guests sipped cocktails (out of coconuts, see above!) as the sun set, and then kicked off their shoes and danced barefoot on the sand under twinkling lights. It was the perfect tropical wedding, on the sand and with waves in the background!
Was there unique transportation?
After their fun sparkler exit, the bride and groom sped away in a beautifully-restored, vintage Bronco – while cold sparklers glittered around them! It was such a fun end to a fabulous wedding!
