Were there any special gifts shared between the bride and groom?
YES! JD had someone deliver a small gift for Laura to open before their first look. Inside was a small journal in which JD had been secretly recording his thoughts about Laura – for the past TWO YEARS! It was incredible, and Laura was overwhelmed (as was her photographer!). JD is so thoughtful, intentional, and obviously in love with Laura, and this little book was the best example of his thoughtfulness.
Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
Laura and JD planned the most beautiful romantic summer wedding, with lush pastel florals in many shades! There were roses, scabiosa, snapdragons, and trailing ivy in shades of blush, lavenders, and sage. There was a beautiful custom-made wooden cross behind them as they exchanged vows, and it was dripping with flowers. The bridesmaids wore a romantic and summery shade of lavender, and it really transformed the already-gorgeous Pensacola Country Club into a romantic summer garden.
Was there an exceptional vendor?
Tyler Matthew Creations did an incredible job with the florals and decor at this romantic summer wedding! Also, the Pensacola Country Club is always an absolute pleasure. Julie did a fabulous job (as always), keeping everything on schedule and making sure the wedding party had everything they needed.
