What was your favorite decorative detail from the wedding day?
Tiana and JD’s beautiful spring Watercolor wedding was so lovely it’s honestly impossible to pick just one detail as a favorite. The overall aesthetic was that of a lush secret garden complete with wild vines growing up the walls and along the drapery. The florals added to the overgrown look with the most romantic color palette. As the sun set, the Watercolor Lakehouse was filled with candlelight and the twinkle of overhead chandeliers. It was a literal fairytale come to life.
What made the reception enjoyable?
This reception was LIT, to put it simply. From the moment the dance floor opened to the final song, the floor was packed. Local DJ Dan Davis rocked an eclectic mix of genres that kept the guests in their dancing shoes and singing at the top of their lungs.
Were there any unique moments that made the reception memorable?
When it came time for the final song of the evening, the couple took to the dance floor surrounded by their loved ones. While their guests stood hand-in-hand swaying in a circle, Tiana and JD danced in the center. As the chorus swelled, their loved ones went from standing on the sidelines to surging the dance floor and surrounding the two with an energetic send off. It was a memorable way to end the night and a great excuse to get everyone back on the dance floor one last time.
