Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
We always hope for clear skies and perfect golden light on wedding days, but unfortunately that doesn’t always happen. The forecast for Nicole and Addison’s downtown Pensacola wedding called for rain, and sure enough the sky opened up five minutes before their ceremony was scheduled to begin. Rather than panic however, their amazing planning team made the call to wait 15 minutes for the late afternoon shower to pass. As soon as it did, the skies cleared and we had a perfect cool breeze, and soft diffused light for their courtyard ceremony – it couldn’t have been any prettier!
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
Joy and gratitude! Nicole and Addison are two of the loveliest people I have ever met, and after spending the day with their family and friends it is easy to understand why. Throughout the day everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind and gracious. It was truly a pleasure to spend the day with them!
Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
For their late spring wedding, Nicole selected a stunning color palette of dusky lilac, soft robin’s egg blue, and navy with ivory and silvery green accents. I loved how soft and modern the combination of colors were. Just gorgeous and perfect for the time of year!
