What made the wedding venue special?
Shelby and Nick chose to have their destination wedding, not in a far-off tropical destination, but in front of the STUNNING Toccoa Falls in the mountains of North Georgia. Just a half day’s drive from Pensacola, I was astonished that such incredible natural scenery exists a few short hours away and their ceremony in front of the falls will forever be one of my favorites!!
Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
Shelby is an incredibly talented aerialist and owns an entertainment company called Flying With Ease. When we did their final meeting a few weeks prior to the wedding, she mentioned that they were planning to treat their guests to a performance by one of their performers. Their guests (and photographers!) LOVED the unique entertainment, but the icing on the cake was most certainly the gorgeous bride spinning through the air in her wedding dress!
Did the couple incorporate any pets in the wedding?
YES!! Shelby and Nick have the most adorable pup named Emmy who performed her role as flower-pup to perfection, even posing for photos and giving us sweet puppy smiles right on cue! I could have spent half the day just photographing sweet Emmy!
