What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
Heather and Josh planned the most beautiful rustic barn wedding, and their choice of wedding clothes reflected that! Josh wore a sharp blue suit, perfectly accessorized with a cowboy hat, bolero tie, and (of course), boots. Heather’s sparkly dress was stunning, with a deep-V neckline and flowing, glittering fabric, and her cream cowboy boots were the perfect accessory. Also, her gown’s empire waist made it the perfect wedding dress to showcase her beautiful baby bump. That’s right – these two were lucky enough to celebrate their wedding AND the birth of their first child in the same month!
Were there any special gifts shared between the bride and groom?
Yes! Heather surprised Josh on the wedding day with miniature bottles of his late father’s cologne. It was such an incredibly meaningful surprise, and I definitely teared up (just like Josh!) watching him realize the meaning behind the gift. I just about melted when he opened a bottle and applied some of the cologne – what a beautiful way to honor his father, and to have him with Josh on the wedding day.
What was the couple’s session like?
It was stunning. Spring along Florida’s Gulf Coast is the most perfect time – it’s warm and windy and not too humid. The sun was shining so beautifully on the afternoon of this country wedding, and we had a ball exploring the farm. Heather and Josh are adorable together, so it was easy to make gorgeous couple’s photos of this bride and groom!
