What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Okay, this time I have to give it to the groom. I learned early on that Jason is the biggest dinosaur enthusiast. His cake was Jurassic Park-themed, and I have to say it was one of my favorite details from the wedding. And you best believe the Jurassic Park theme song was playing while Ally and Jason were cutting the cake. Everyone was a fan of the song choice.
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
We always hope for a wedding day without rain, but on Ally and Jason’s big day it was super windy and slightly cold, with temps in the low 40s. Even though it was quite chilly, this didn’t stop the couple from celebrating and enjoying their day. They braved the cold, and we captured some of the most beautiful bridal portraits.
Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
Not only is Jason a dinosaur fan, so are his siblings. Jason’s siblings grew up loving the Land Before Time movies. One of their favorite things to do together, when they were growing up, was singing the song “It Takes All Sorts”, from the movie. During Jason’s dance with his mother, his brother and sister surprised them and sang that very song. Jason and Ally’s reactions were the sweetest. They had no idea that his family had planned this.
