Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
For their elegant, downtown Pensacola wedding at 5eleven, Emma and Garrett chose a color palette of deep emerald green with classic black and white accents, and hints of silver for a little sparkle. Jewel tones are perfect for a winter wedding, and happen to be my personal favorite, so I was obsessed with their gorgeous design scheme!
What was unique about the bridal party’s attire?
While photographing bridal details prior to the ceremony, I noticed the deep emerald bridesmaid dresses and thought they were beautiful. With a closer look though, I realized they weren’t dresses at all – they were jumpsuits!! I thought it was such a fun and modern way for the bridesmaids to not only look FABULOUS, but also be comfortable throughout the day!
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
At our final meeting, a few weeks prior to her wedding, Emma and I connected over a shared love of all things Disney! For her big day, she had a parasol hand-painted at the Magic Kingdom with nods to her favorite princess, Cinderella, along with her wedding date and new last name. It was an adorable addition to her bridal portraits, and I love that she will be able to use it on future Disney adventures for years to come!!
