What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Darcy’s dress was amazing! She selected a classic, satin ball gown with a lace bodice, but she asked her seamstress to add the most beautiful sheer sleeves – and it was stunning! Complete with her classic tiara, off the shoulder gown, and diaphanous sleeves, Darcy looked like a real-life Disney princess.
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
Just, JOY. Darcy and Will were so excited to marry one another, and I think both of their cheeks probably hurt from smiling all day long. They planned a beautifully romantic winter wedding and I loved the personal touches they incorporated – but being together, and married, was clearly the priority, and it was refreshing to see it!
Were there special details with symbolic importance?
When Darcy was born, her mother gave her a miniature Bible, covered in a sweet white eyelet jacket. Recognizing their faith was clearly a fundamental part of Darcy and Will’s wedding day, and I loved that she made sure to bring this little Bible to have close to her on the day of her marriage.
