What made the reception enjoyable?
Definitely the people! Britney and Patrick are both so funny and laidback, and they have such a fun group of friends! It was very obvious how much everyone there adored the bride and groom, and every single person we interacted with was so kind and friendly! It truly felt like everyone was exactly where they wanted to be, and over and over again I saw guests hugging each other (or the couple!), smiling, crying, and catching up. It is such a testament to Britney and Patrick, and how their relationship really brought so many people together.
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
Well, not really! It rained (and I mean, RAINED, all day long) – from the time I arrived until I got home at the end of the party! But you know what was amazing? Not one time – NOT ONE TIME – did I hear Britney, Patrick, or their wedding party complain or lament the changes we had to make due to the rain. We photographed almost everything indoors at the always-wonderful 5eleven Palafox – and the photos are gorgeous and some of my favorites ever! The only time the rain broke was during the 30 minutes we had planned to spend on photos of Britney and Patrick together – so amidst twelve hours of rain, they had the perfect half-hour of dry skies to capture beautiful photos of them outdoors in downtown Pensacola! It was a perfect, funky, rainy-day wedding!
Was there an exceptional vendor?
The wedding planner, Felicia, was incredible! She pivoted as the weather demanded, with a smile on her face and positivity in her body language. I was so impressed at how well she managed shifting plans and people with such grace and humor!
