What made the reception enjoyable?
WHAT A PARTY! Whitney and Parker chose a fabulous live wedding band, the Bay Kings Band, and they were as incredible as always. The dance floor was packed all night long, and the energy was that of a concert, instead of a wedding reception. Every single one of their guests (from teens to grandparents!) had a blast kicking up their heels on the dance floor, and it created such a positive vibe for the newlyweds!
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
It was forecast to rain all day long, and we all spent hours coming up with rain alternatives – but then, somehow, the rain held off all night and the bride and groom had a warm, sunny, December day!
Was there an exceptional vendor?
The groom’s sister is a wedding planner out of New Orleans, and her team did wonderful job keeping the wedding day on track! Not only was the design stunning, but the day was nearly stress-free because the logistics were handled masterfully.
Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
Whitney and Parker designed a classy, elegant, black and white wedding. The bridesmaids wore romantic and flattering black velvet gowns, and the groomsmen were decked out in crisp black tuxedos. The florals were all white phalaenopsis orchids, dripping from modern minimal vases. It was STUNNING.
