What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Every detail had meaning to this couple, and I loved it. Bianca’s Puerto Rican heritage was evident in their menu (part Greek and part Latin!), and there were echoes of Greece everywhere. It was so apparent that Gis and Bianca love their cultures, and have such respect for each other.
Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
Yes!! Gus is originally from Greece, and they busted out some incredible Greek dancing after dinner! The traditional Greek band played and sang while Gus and his family danced up a storm. I love Greek dancing. It was astounding watching those who knew the steps perform together, and it was just as much fun watching them teach the steps to those who didn’t know!
Were there any children involved in the ceremony or reception that were memorable?
Gus’s four grandchildren were the ringbearers and flower girl, and they were so delightful you could eat them up. Bianca’s son walked her down the aisle and it was incredibly special watching these two families blend into one.
