Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
Caitlin and Matthew had the most perfect autumn afternoon for their downtown Pensacola wedding at the gorgeous 5eleven Palafox! October is our busiest month of the year here on the Gulf Coast and for good reason! The hazy, humid days of late summer give way to warm, but not too warm, afternoons and cooler evenings with soft golden light peeking through leaves that have just started to change their colors. I can’t think of a more beautiful time of year to get married – and not just because I was a fall bride myself!
Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
I loved that Caitlin embraced the richness of the season! She chose florals and decor in rich shades of rust and burgundy with soft silvery-grey, and creamy white accents. Supposey did an incredible job (as usual!) with pulling together an absolutely stunning event for them!
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
Caitlin and Matthew chose to do a first look in the courtyard of 5eleven Palafox, not just for the purpose of doing most of their portraits prior to their ceremony, but also to make sure they had time to themselves on their wedding day. It was such a sweet moment, and I loved that it was important to them to have a few minutes with just each other that day!
