What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
Kay and Jonathan’s intimate Rosemary Beach wedding at the Pearl Hotel was everything you might imagine an elegant, intimate destination wedding to be. They rented a beautiful home in which to spend the week relaxing at the beach, and chose to forgo most of the traditional wedding formalities in favor of simply enjoying the time with each other. We arrived that morning to find both bride and groom together getting ready for the party to come. Jonathan watched as gorgeous Kay had her hair and makeup done, while friends and family relaxed in the common areas. I loved that they wanted to spend as much time together, and with their family and friends, as possible on their wedding day!
What made the reception enjoyable?
Kay and Jonathan treated their guests to not one, but TWO fabulous celebrations on their wedding day! Their pre-ceremony cocktail hour featured delicious passed hors d’oeuvres and pink champagne for their guests to sip while mingling in anticipation of the ceremony and reception to come, which set such a festive tone for the rest of the event!
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
I loved that Kay wanted their day to be special and beautiful even though they chose not do a large formal event, and Showtime Events knocked it out of the park with gorgeous florals and decor! My favorite part, by far, was how creatively they transformed the ceremony space and arbor into a stunning cake display during the reception! It was the perfect way to use the beautiful, floral-draped arbor for both events!
