Were there special details with symbolic importance?
Kendall and Tyler, and their wonderful families, made sure that there were heirloom details at every turn. Mom’s wedding dress was displayed in a corner of the ballroom with a photo from her own wedding. Kendall wore the most beautiful ring from her grandmother (also her “something blue!”), and carried her Meme’s hankie. The cake toppers from both parents’ and grandparents’ weddings were arranged around the groom’s cake…and the list goes on. It was so clear that these families care so much for one another, and it brought tears to my eyes more than once.
Were there any children involved in the ceremony or reception that were memorable?
Kendall’s little cousins were her flower girl and ring bearer, and they did a wonderful job with all of their responsibilities! Not only did they successfully transport the rings, and flower the aisle with petals – but they also carefully wheeled the bride’s six-month-old nephew in a white wagon! All three of them stole the show.
What made the reception enjoyable?
Everyone at this elegant Pensacola Country Club wedding showed up to PARTY, and it was a blast to be there to capture every moment! As soon as the cake was cut, the band kicked it into high gear and everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) hit the dance floor and didn’t leave until the party was over. My favorite weddings to photograph are the ones where everyone is just having the time of their life, and I had a grin on my own face all night long.
