Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
Haleigh and Jared’s downtown Pensacola fall wedding took place outdoors on the waterfront, at the historic Palafox Wharf. The autumn colors they chose were absolutely gorgeous against the blue water and green lawn. Haleigh’s bridesmaids wore floor-length, rust-colored velvet gowns. They were absolutely incredible! The florals were the perfect mix of fall colors – there were orange ranunculus, burgundy dahlias, blush roses, and an explosion of beautiful greenery. These colors were carried throughout the entire day, and it gave this feeling the perfect fall wedding – which it absolutely was.
Were there special details with symbolic importance?
Instead of a traditional guest book, Haley and Jared had a beautiful table custom-made just for them. As they entered the reception, their guests were invited to write a message and sign their name on the table top. After the wedding, the table will be sealed and will find its forever home in their entryway. Over the years, I have seen many different types of non-traditional guest books, but this was my favorite!
Was the exit exciting and unique?
Yes! The bride and groom opted for a bubble exit (a great idea when you want something fun and impactful, but want to avoid fire!). They were so smart and in addition to handing out miniature bubble blowers to each guest, they distributed a handful of bubble guns. This ensured a massive quantity of bubbles, and the photos are so much fun!
