What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
If your dress is very minimal, adding a bow is the perfect statement. Especially a big bow. Alexia had the most elegant big bow added to the back of her wedding dress. It created a show stopping detail. Everyone, including myself, was obsessed with her dress. Alexia looked absolutely stunning!
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
OMG – it couldn’t have been a better day in Rosemary. It was the most perfect start to the fall season. We had no chance of rain and we captured beautiful sunset portraits of Alexia and Zach. It was such a great day!
How did the parent’s react upon seeing their son/daughter?
One thing I have learned about the Churchey’s is that they are a tight knit family. I must also add a very FUN family! When Debbie and I stepped outside so I could give her some details on Alexia and Zach’s first look location, Zach happened to be outside. That was Debbie’s first time seeing him in his suite and all groomed up. Even from afar, she had her moment and shared a tear of happiness for her son. She didn’t think that it was going to get to her, but it was truly beautiful seeing how happy she was for her son.
Did the couple incorporate any pets in the wedding?
Alexia and Zach have the cutest doodles, Belly and Winnie. Although they weren’t a part of the ceremony, Belly and Winnie were fully involved in the first half of the day. They celebrated with their hoomans by wearing a white bridal dress. It is seriously the most adorable thing I have seen at a wedding.
