What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
From getting ready at one of our favorite venues in downtown Pensacola, Florida, Oyster Bay Boutique Hotel, to her stunning Sassy Halford gown – every detail that Amanda chose was so intentional and so classy. Once she added that lacey cover top to her dress and then the Badgley Mischka shoes, every jaw in the room dropped. It’s honestly hard to say what my favorite detail was because everything she chose was exceptionally fabulous.
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
The week of the wedding brought lots of rain and had everyone worrying that the big day would not be the sunshiney day they were hoping for. The morning-of was another rainy one, but in true Florida fashion, the weather changed on a dime and gave us a truly stunning day. We didn’t have another drop of rain the rest of the day! So it didn’t cooperate at the beginning, but the good weather came through when we really needed it!
What was unique about the bridal party’s attire?
I’ve already mentioned how wonderful Amanda and Donald’s taste is, but they delivered again with the choice of their wedding party’s attire. I’m talking about bridesmaids dresses that were deep black and had the most exceptional hip flare falling to the floor paired with the groomsmen in sharp black tuxes – it couldn’t make for a better photo.
Was there unique transportation?
Amanda and Donald ended the night riding off into downtown in each other’s arms by horse and carriage, waving to all their family and friends. What a fantastic way to end a great party!
