What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Jess + Jon’s intimate downtown Pensacola courthouse elopement was the epitome of sweetness. From the quaint pastel gown to the postnuptial pies at local staple Scenic 90 Cafe, this early morning ceremony was the perfect example of breaking all the rules and looking cute while doing it.
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
So. Much. Excitement!! Even though the duo got engaged a month ago, it was apparent that this union was one they had both been anxiously awaiting. You could feel the giddy energy between Jess + Jon while walking around downtown Seville Square. They shared stolen glances and danced in the street while onlookers wished them well. They practiced calling each other husband and wife between sweet kisses and tender hand holds. Something about their newly minted titles plastered big grins across their faces. To put it simply; The joy was real, the love was real, and I was here for every minute of it.
What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
Jess took the “Something Borrowed, Something Blue” tradition to the next level with her get-up. The bride wore a custom-made gown from Nigeria, previously worn by her sister on her wedding day. The pale pink lining adorned with blue lace appliques offered a more non-traditional color palette, while its tea-length hemline embodied a certain bridal sweetness. The combo made for a flirty twist and paired perfectly with their pink getaway scooter.
