What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is styling the details – and Jackie came prepared! She brought me several copies of her invitations and save the dates. I love how a couple’s invitation suite introduces the style and color palette of their wedding. Jackie’s invitations were clean and classic, but the envelopes were a little more fun. When you open the envelope there is a beautiful floral design inside! That gave me a hint that Jackie loves flowers, so you best believe I added flowers to the photo! It was so much fun styling her details.
What made the reception enjoyable?
Mr. Big + The Rhythm sisters did an incredible job keeping the guests dancing all night. They were also very interactive with the guests. One of the lead singers would come out to the dance floor and let the guest take over the microphone and sing. The dance floor was never empty, and that’s always a great indicator how amazing the band is! I know everyone had a great time – including myself!
What was the couple’s session like?
It was honestly amazing! We had the most perfect weather and perfect lighting. Photographing Jackie and Scott just came naturally. I felt like I didn’t have to really direct them. They just could not stop smiling at each other, and it was honestly the sweetest thing. We captured the most beautiful portraits.
