What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Britta and Green met when they were both freshmen at Yale, and there was a huge contingent of their college friends who traveled to Alabama for their big southern wedding! They had a big stuffed bulldog (the Yale mascot) sitting on the edge of the stage, and I loved watching their guests periodically grab the stuffed version of Handsome Dan and crowd surf him over the dance floor!
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
There was so much joy! From the second I walked into her gorgeous suite at the Grand, Britta bubbled with laughter, excitement, and a million-dollar smile. Everyone was just so darn happy, and the day was full of smiles, hugs, and happiness.
What made the reception enjoyable?
Britta and Green hired my all-time favorite wedding band, Az IzZ. As usual, they didn’t disappoint! This awesome Atlanta-based band kept the dance floor packed until the last note of the very last song. There were plenty of tables thoughtfully arranged around the outdoor terrace, so their guests could easily take a rest with a cocktail in hand!
