Why was the stationery suite so exceptional?
5eleven Palafox is one of the most popular (& let me say gorgeous) venues in Pensacola, Florida, and Alison and Jonathan’s invitation suite incorporated it beautifully. I wanted a set to keep for myself because it was so beautiful! It was actually created by Alison’s cousin (and maid of honor) – Mallory of Mal West Designs! It was truly the most fabulous set with textured edges, beautiful graphics, and superb texture. I couldn’t wait to take photos of it. Yes, I know… I get extremely excited about taking pictures of a good set of invitations. I can’t help it, they were fabulous.
Were there special details with symbolic importance?
Yes, there for sure were. Alison’s mother’s necklace was one detail I made sure to capture. Her late mother sadly was not able to help Alison put on her wedding dress, or watch her walk down the aisle, but Alison made sure to have her mother close to her heart by wearing her necklace, which was stunning. She also had a picture of her mother wrapped around her bouquet so she could walk down the aisle with her. It was hard not to get emotional seeing it all.
Were there any children involved in the ceremony or reception that were memorable?
Alison and Jonathan had THE cutest, sweetest little flower girl. She was perfect. She adores Alison and was so happy to be with her all morning, skipping around the bridal suite, even helping Alison put on her shoes. I couldn’t get enough of her cute little face.
