What made the wedding venue special?
I absolutely love photographing weddings at the Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach! With gorgeous rooms perfect for spending the morning sipping champagne and getting ready, multiple ceremony and reception site options, FANTASTIC food, and an incredible resort atmosphere perfect for relaxing pool-side post wedding, it is the perfect venue in the Perdido Key or Orange Beach area for couples who want the convenience of all of their wedding events taking place in one location! Moreover, their events team takes fantastic care of their couples and vendors alike!
What was the couple’s session like?
Leah and Heath were excited for their portraits together on the beach at sunset, and were willing to give us as much time as we needed to make that happen for them! I love when couple’s fully trust us and Leah didn’t blink an eye when I asked them to climb onto the jetty rocks for a few photos – the results are absolutely stunning and I am obsessed with the portraits we created.
Did the couple incorporate any pets in the wedding?
Leah and Heath absolutely adore their sweet Basset Hound Beau, and though they were unable to bring him along for their destination wedding, they DID make sure to include him with the most adorable hand-painted bar signage! Beau’s Bar served up signature cocktails of Heath’s Hooch and Liquer de Leah all evening long! I loved that they found a creative and fun way to include him even though he couldn’t be physically present!
