What made the wedding venue special?
Though our studio has been fortunate enough to have photographed the interior spaces and a styled shoot there recently, Liana and Devin’s downtown Pensacola wedding at Oyster Bay Boutique Hotel (which you may remember as the Lee House!) was the first event we have photographed there since their recent renovations! With its bright and modern interior spaces, and clean white exterior it was the perfect location for this mid-spring reception and was absolutely gorgeous!
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
Oh my stars, did it ever!! We have had the most beautiful spring in Pensacola, with sunny, breezy afternoons and cool evenings tailor made for outdoor weddings and events. Liana and Devin’s big day was no exception, and we were graced with weather so beautiful that we truly could not have asked for a more perfect afternoon!
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
Like so many of our sweet couples, Liana and Devin chose to have an intimate ceremony last year while postponing their big celebration by a year due to Covid. When May 1 finally arrived, they were both so relaxed because all the pressure was off (they were already married after all!) and just ready to celebrate, and have fun with their friends and family! I loved that they were both able to really be present and enjoy every moment with their guests and each other without the nerves that couples often feel on their wedding days!
