Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
This is the worry of every bride and groom. With Heather and Burton having to reschedule their wedding four times due to Covid-19 and Hurricane Sally these two deserved a beautiful day. The day was right upon us but the night before and through the night and morning of, a horrible thunderstorm moved through; a storm including hail and inches of rain. I had tons of faith that it would clear up and can I just say the weather man came through! It was extraordinary!! Before the ceremony it was as if no storm had even happened. When it was time for their portraits, the golden hour was upon us! Beams of beautiful light were shining all around the grounds at the Grand Hotel in Fairhope, Alabama (which are already insanely beautiful) and the two of them looked so dapper, it was incredible.
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Burton has sharp taste because when I saw her ring I couldn’t help but say “Yes Ma’am!” I love an elegant ring and it was all that and more. Let’s say some of her ring shots are my absolute favorite.
What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
I hadn’t known Heather a long time but it didn’t take me long to realize how amazing her taste is. Her dress would take your breath away and fit her perfectly and I didn’t see how it could get any better but of course Heather took my breath away yet again with adding the most elegant bow to the back of her dress for their party. I LOVED it!
