What made the wedding venue special?
Beryl and Johnathan met when they were both attending Springhill College have a special connection to the campus, so there was no question that they would plan for their early spring wedding to take place at St. Joseph Chapel on the Springhill College campus. If you know anything about Mobile, Alabama you know that azalea blooming season is a THING and I loved that Beryl purposefully selected their weekend in late March for their wedding based on when the azaleas typically are in full bloom! Their wedding party photos on the Avenue of the Oaks are flanked by the most vibrant fuschia azaleas and are just gorgeous!!
What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
Beryl has an amazing classic, yet modern style and her Lea-Ann Belter gown was absolutely stunning!! I loved the simple lines, subtle bust line beading and that FABULOUS bow on the back!
What made the reception enjoyable?
The Bragg Mitchell Mansion is one of my absolute favorite Mobile wedding venues!! The main house is gorgeous of course, but it is the sweeping front lawn and grand moss-draped oak trees that make it something really special! Beryl and Johnathan’s al fresco reception under the oak trees dripping with twinkle light installations from Willow Bridge was absolutely magical, and an evening I am sure they and their guests will remember!!
