Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
It couldn’t have been a more gorgeous day for Megan and Jonathan’s early spring Pensacola Beach wedding!! Like so many of our couples this past year, Megan and Johnathan found themselves in a situation where they had to reschedule their 2020 wedding. Their original plan was an early fall wedding, but I have to believe their early spring wedding was even better! The light still had that gorgeous winter softness, but it was sunny and warm with just enough beach breeze for everyone to enjoy their ceremony on the sand, and al fresco reception – absolutely perfect!
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
Megan and Jonathan met while they were in college in Pensacola, and our little stretch of beach is special to them. They knew they wanted lots of photos of our gorgeous emerald water and sugar white sand, but Megan wanted to incorporate as much of Pensacola Beach as possible and we did their first look at historic Fort Pickens! It was such a refreshing change of scenery and I adore the photos from their first look!
Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
During Megan and Jonathan’s first look he gave her the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. I thought it was a simple, sweet gesture on their wedding day, but as it turns out is a Polish custom! I loved that not only did Jonathan surprise Megan, but honored his family’s heritage on their wedding day in such a sweet way!
