Did the weather cooperate?
The weather leading up to Amber and Cliff’s wedding day had been cold and wet – not an ideal way to start the week of your beach wedding! However, on the day of their wedding the sky was blue and there was not a cloud to be seen. Everything took place at the Emerald Grande in Destin, Florida – the views were breathtaking. The day turned out to be just the right temperature and the water was the perfect shade of emerald green.
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
They chose not to do a first look and see each other at the altar for the first time. Cliff had his back to her as she stepped off the boat and made her way towards him. Finally as she walked down the aisle and Cliff laid eyes on his beautiful bride for the first time it brought him to tears-it made for the sweetest moment.
What was your favorite moment of the day?
I see many first dances, but their first dance was such an intimate moment despite them being surrounded by all of their friends and family. At the beginning of their dance they laughed and giggled with each other but then halfway through the song they just swayed and hugged each other, eyes closed, and I could tell all nerves were gone and it was just about the two of them.
