What made the wedding venue special?
“I LOVE photographing weddings at The Barn at Water Oaks! The entire property is gorgeous and full of unique, thoughtfully sourced details, and there are beautiful photo opportunities everywhere! My favorite part by far though, is that this amazing property is just far enough to feel incredibly private and I am amazed by how many stars you can see if you wander outside at night. Just lovely!”
What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
“Nicole is, in a word, a BOMBSHELL and her gorgeous bridal look was giving me all the old-Hollywood glamour vibes! I loved that she chose a bold lip and nailcolor, and her off-the-shoulder Casablanca Bridal gown fit her perfectly! So, SO stunning!!
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
“We regularly photograph beautiful bridal details – sparkly shoes, heirloom jewelry, and the like – but it is less frequent that the groom has similar details. At Nicole and Chris’s wedding, while photographing all of her personal details, Chris’s mom asked me to photograph a gift she had for him. When I opened the small antique box, I found the most beautiful collection of heirloom cufflinks, photographs, and a handwritten note from Chris’s grandfather stating they were to be given to him and his brother on their wedding days. Details like those will forever be my favorites because of the memories and stories attached to them!”
