Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
This wedding was all white, and the reception felt like walking into a winter wonderland. There were candles glowing, white lights twinkling, and Christmas trees. It was an absolutely beautiful way to honor the season while still looking very much like a wedding.
Was there an exceptional vendor?
Wildflowers did an incredible job on the florals at this winter wedding. White blooms dripped with evergreen boughs, and the stage was flanked with flocked white Christmas trees. The wedding planner, Martie Duncan, made sure everything was perfect and her attention to detail was incredible.
What was unique about the bridal party’s attire?
December in Alabama can mean freezing weather or bright sunshine. Cassie made sure her bridesmaids were prepared for either! In addition to classic black bridesmaids’ dresses, they each wore a beautiful fur wrap, making them look festive and keeping them cozy!
What made the reception enjoyable?
Cassie and Camp’s wedding reception at the Grand Hotel was a BLAST. The band, Big Night Dynamite, was incredible and kept the dance floor packed all night long. The funniest party hats were passed out, so the guests had such a fun time passing them around, and many of them also wore light up Christmas light necklaces distributed by – wait for it – Santa and Mrs. Claus. That’s right. This holiday wedding had a special visit from Santa and his wife, and they stayed all night long spreading Christmas cheer!
Was the exit exciting and unique?
It was fabulous! As Camp and Cassie walked toward the exit to the cheers of their guests, a surprise flash mob started playing and singing “All You Need is Love.” All of the guests joined in and heralded the beautiful newlyweds out with song.
