Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
The weather for this Bayfront Lodge wedding was amazing! There was no chance of rain and all around the day was sunny, and beautiful. Having a nice breeze was a little bonus in the photos – Molly’s veil looked stunning each time the wind picked it up!
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Instead of having a traditional guest book, Molly and Trever bought fabric for their guests to sign. They plan on making a quilt with the autographed fabric! I thought it was the coolest idea!
What made the reception enjoyable?
One thing I always love about a reception is hearing the speeches. Chelsea, Molly’s maid of honor, has been friends with Molly since middle school. Like most middle school girls, Molly and Chelsea kept a notebook journal in which they would pass notes back and forth with each other. They kept writing in their journal throughout high school. When Chelsea spoke, she pulled out the first journal they wrote in 7th grade. As soon as Molly saw it, she teared up. That journal held stories about their days in middle school, secret crushes, and most importantly their friendship. The first page of the journal was a belated birthday note Chelsea wrote to Molly. I was in tears! They knew, even as young girls, they would be best friends forever and standing next to each other on their wedding days.
