What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
My favorite detail was a small necklace that Hope wrapped around her bouquet. The pendant was a beautiful silver disc imprinted with her mother’s thumbprint. Hope recently lost her mother, but this pendant was one of many ways she made sure her mother was with her throughout the day.
What made the wedding venue special?
After a variety of obstacles that prevented Hope and Reed from having the event they were originally planning (a pandemic and a hurricane, to name two!), they ended up having a beautifully intimate wedding in Reed’s mother’s backyard, right here in downtown Pensacola. I adore a backyard wedding. It’s so meaningful to be surrounded by things cherished by your family, and Supposey did an incredible job jazzing up what was already a stunning space.
What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
Hope’s BHLDN wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous. It was made of the most beautiful and delicate lace, with flowing sleeves that gave it a subtle boho vibe (matched perfectly by the flowers in Hope’s hair).
Were there any special gifts shared between the bride and groom?
Just a few minutes before walking down the aisle, Reed snuck a gift and a letter in for Hope. The letter made her cry, but then the gift pushed her over the top! It was the most stunning opal and diamond ring, that belonged to Reed’s mother. It is truly a stunning piece of jewelry, and I loved watching Hope sneak looks at it on her hand throughout the evening – I would have also!
