What made the wedding venue special?
Lauren and Tyler knew they wanted something different for their big day and chose the Mobile Museum of Art for its fantastic, modern aesthetic. The soaring ceilings and wall of windows are GORGEOUS, but the atrium floor is my favorite part (more on that later)! The entire space lent itself beautifully to the modern, elegant atmosphere Lauren was going for!
What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
The first time I saw Lauren’s AMAZING Mori Lee gown at her bridal portrait session, I gasped out loud! Layers and layers of material made for a gorgeous full skirt, but handkerchief hem and STRIPES (!!!) put it completely over the top!! She told me later that she decided on the dress because the pattern mimicked that of the tile floor in the atrium of their venue and I loved it even more!
Why was the stationery suite so exceptional?
In keeping with the modern, elegant aesthetic they were after their invitations were simple, yet stunning. I loved the black, white, and gold color scheme and the way they mimicked that fabulous floor with the gold foil marble detailing. I even ended up using one of the pieces to photograph their rings on, and it may just be one of my favorite ever ring shots!
