What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
There were so many tears, and so much laughter!! Kate and her parents were incredibly emotional while she was getting ready, and tears flowed freely – especially when they read the touching letters written for them by Kate. She chose to do a first look with her dad (as well as with Ryan), and that moment was beautiful and emotional.
What made the reception enjoyable?
Everyone really danced, all night long, and that makes a great wedding reception for both the guests and the photographer! The best subjects for reception photography are people having a great time, and Kate and Ryan’s wedding guests really delivered. The dance floor was packed all night long, and I loved it!
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
It was so incredibly gorgeous. It was sunny and clear and a little crisp – making the gorgeous fur wraps worn by Kate and her bridesmaids perfect. The wedding ceremony took place under the giant live oak outside the clubhouse, against a stunning blue sky, and it was truly beautiful.
