What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
“Definitely Mary Elizabeth’s wedding shoes! She chose a gorgeous pair of pink floral Tom Ford heels, and they were the perfect complement for her classic wedding gown. When she twirled on the dance floor, you could see her bold floral shoes peek out from under her ivory ball gown – a wonderfully modern touch to her elegant look!”
Where there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
“The bride and groom live in New Orleans, and they brought a little bit of the Big Easy with them to Pensacola in the form of a Second Line! This fun tradition involves a jazz band leading all the guests in a sort of parade around town, waving napkins in the air and dancing along the sidewalks. Since Mary Elizabeth and Tim’s wedding took place in Pensacola’s historic district, their Second Line wove through beautiful Seville Square, under stately live oaks, surrounded by history.”
What made the reception enjoyable?
“The Essentials, a fantastic jazz band from New Orleans, kept the dance floor full throughout this afternoon reception! The music appealed to everyone there, and I loved seeing college friends of the couple twirling around their grandmothers! Everyone danced, and it was awesome.”
Was there an exceptional vendor?
“We always love working with PS Weddings as wedding planners, and this wedding was no exception! Paul and his team are always smiling and positive, and keep the day on track and the guests happy!”
Was there unique transportation?
“The bride and groom made their getaway in a pedicab! Their guests cheered as the one pedicab, emblazoned with the words “Just Married” on the back, wheeled through them and carried the couple away. So fun!”
