Where there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
“Shernethia and Jared paid tribute to Jared’s hometown of New Orleans with an incredible jazz band and Second Line! Right after dinner, while their guests were beginning to fill the dance floor, the main doors burst open and in marched a full jazz band. Guests grabbed their napkins and began waving them in the air, feet stomped to the rhythm (no one’s more emphatically than the groom’s!), and everyone followed the band outside and up Palafox Street. It was Saturday night, so the sidewalks were lined with people dining and walking around Pensacola’s vibrant downtown, but everyone stopped and clapped along with this party as they circled the block with more energy and excitement than I can adequately describe. It was amazing!”
What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
“Shernethia was a true vision in her classic white sheath gown. It was simple, elegant, and highlighted how beautiful she is. Her long veil was delicate and formal, and she was the perfect match to Jared’s white dinner jacket!”
Was there an exceptional vendor?
“The entire team was amazing! Weddings Walls, Soho Events, and Ella Floral Design all worked to transform the ballroom into a purple and white vision. Every detail was intentional and worked together to create a space that was incredibly elegant.”
