Where there any special gifts shared between the bride and groom?
“Um, an amazing puppy! Victoria snuck a sweet little puppy all the way to Watercolor from Louisiana, and managed to keep her a secret for the days leading up to the wedding. After the ceremony, while I was photographing the couple, the bride’s brother secretly brought the puppy (complete with a gold ribbon), and watching Tyler melt when he saw her was amazing. Also, I might have gotten the chance to snuggle the pup myself for a few minutes, and that was all that was needed to put an already incredible day over the top!”
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
“Tyler LOST it when he saw his bride coming down the aisle! His reaction was so genuine and intense that I don’t think there was a dry eye in the crowd. The tears didn’t stop there – both Victoria and Tyler were choked up while reciting their vows, and it was incredibly heartwarming to see how deeply these two care for each other.”
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
“For 95% of the day, it was absolutely beautiful. Sunny, warm, fluffy clouds and a gentle breeze. However, ten minutes before the garden ceremony was scheduled to start, Florida decided to surprise us with a little summer sunshower. The guests didn’t blink – they popped open umbrellas and laughed their way through! Sure enough, the rain stopped just as the bride began to walk down the aisle!”
Was the exit exciting and unique?
“Yes! Victoria and Tyler chose to exit while their guests popped shiny silver streamers above them! I love confetti – it’s one of my favorite types of exits – but many venues don’t allow it because of the clean up. These were a fantastic alternative because the streamers remained attached to the poppers, so there was no clean-up!”
