What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
“Emily and Michael’s cake was AMAZING. Michael wrote an incredible computer program that projected a variety of laser shows onto a beautiful white cake – it was incredible! Guests could change which show was being projected at any time on the attached tablet. There was everything from fireworks, to Cinderella’s carriage, to actual photos of Emily and Michael. I’ve never seen anything like it, and neither had any of the guests!”
What was the couple’s session like?
“The bride and groom wanted to take a portion of their couple’s photos in their ballroom, which was beautifully draped in white fabric with accents of deep purple – it was beautiful! I had a blast being creative with their centerpieces and the photos that resulted are unique, gorgeous, and meaningful. A bit later in the evening, we stepped outside for a second set of photos on the lawn, and those were memorable for an entirely different reason – geese! A flock of about 30 geese spent the entire day wandering around the lawn outside the Soundside Club, and they casually wandered in and out of our photos, which was delightful.”
Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
“Emily and Michael chose to use deep purple, blue, and silver, and it was such a beautiful combination. The orchid centerpieces sparkled, and the rich colors gave the reception a wonderful feel of elegance and luxury.”
Where there special details with symbolic importance?
“Both the bride and groom featured Disney pins – Emily had a sweet Minnie Mouse “bride” on her bouquet, and Michael’s boutonniere had the matching Mickey groom pin! I love seeing personal details like this, especially when they’re a little hidden so you only see them when you look – so special!”
