Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
“The weather tried to give everyone a scare, but per the norm it was beautiful!!! Pensacola Beach is gorgeous even on overcast days and on their wedding day it was so lovely. The water was all of the beautiful blues and the skies were clear!”
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
“Alicia was very ready to see her soon to be husband. When he saw her, a huge grin came over him and Alicia had all the giggles. The two of them were so cute together. He just kept complimenting her telling her how much he adored her and that dress. It was a beautiful first look.”
Were there any children involved in the ceremony or reception that were memorable?
“Jonathan’s nieces were the flower girls and boy were they cute! They had the prettiest flower crowns and sweet little white dresses. Once the wedding day began they were there for it! They did such a good job the whole day and made sure to stay awake for the cake cutting at the reception. If anyone was looking for the two, all you had to do was look on the dance floor!”
Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
“People from Louisiana know about traditions and how to throw a party! During the reception, Alicia and Jonathan made sure to take photos with all their people in front of their wedding cake and the fun LSU grooms cake that they had! Even at the end of the night, they did a second line all the way out to end with an exciting sparkler exit!! All so much fun!”
What made the reception enjoyable?
“Portofino Island Resort has such pretty views and a gorgeous place to have a wedding reception. The dinner tables were all surrounding the pool overlooking the soundside with a lovely sunset that fell into night. The flowers and lighting were all so beautiful to the eyes and the band was throwing down for all to party too! It was one for the books!”
