What made the wedding venue special?
“Rather than booking an Airbnb or hotel suite, Courtney chose to spend the morning getting ready at her parents’ home on Pensacola Bay and for wedding party portraits we took a quick trip down the road to Ben’s grandmother’s property. They were both gorgeous locations, but more importantly, they were places special to them! I loved that they made such sweet, sentimental choices for their wedding day!
Where there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
“Courtney and Ben wrote letters to each other prior to their wedding day that their officiant read out loud as part of their ceremony. They were so sweet and heartfelt, and it was such a lovely twist on writing their own vows. It was the first time I had seen a couple do this and I loved it!!”
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
“We have been so fortunate to have had a string of gorgeous wedding days lately, and Courtney and Ben’s was no exception! It was a gorgeous, sunny Pensacola day and perfect for their outdoor ceremony and reception! The late afternoon light was absolutely stunning during their ceremony!
Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
“I love a classic wedding design and Courtney chose with an elegant, clean and classic palette of neutrals and accented with silvery grey greenery, and tiny pops of pops of gold in the reception decor. Everything was absolutely beautiful and worked perfectly for their Pensacola Country Club wedding!”
