Were there any unique traditions that made the reception memorable?
“In Vietnamese wedding culture, the bride and groom, along with a few family and friends, greet every table of guests at their reception to toast and thank them for attending. This gesture is called chào bàn and can involve lots of drinking for the groom. Luckily they amended the tradition a bit for Timothy’s sake and the guests had quite a few of his drinks. Mi and Timothy also had a beautiful backdrop set up at the entrance to their reception and made sure to get a picture with every single guest! It is another way of thanking their guests and letting them know that each one of them is incredibly special.”
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
“We had perfect weather for Mi and Timothy’s big day! Mi was so excited about having her ceremony on the beach and wanted all of their portraits as close to the water as possible. The sunshine made her dream come true and we had so much fun on Pensacola Beach making that happen!”
What was unique about the bride’s dress?
“Mi actually custom designed her dress. She put so much thought into every detail of it and it fit her perfectly. She was absolutely radiant!”
Was there an exceptional vendor?
“Melinda Orona of Melinda Orona Events absolutely knocked it out of the park! There were so many amazing pieces to this wedding. Melinda did a masterful job of making everyone feel calm and supported while executing everything perfectly!”
Was the exit exciting and unique?
“Mi and Timothy chose a sparkler exit to send them off into married life and it was so beautiful. All of their friends and family lined up under the stars and cheered them on. It was such a happy and joyful day!”
